On behalf of Minex Forum steering committee we would like to announce that the second regional mining and exploration conference MINEX – URALS 2009 will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Sverdlovsk region within the framework of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Urals State Mining University.
MINEX URALS IN BRIEF
MINEX (Mining and Exploration) Forum was established in 2005 with the aim of assisting Russia with the development of competitive mining and exploration industry through international networking, consultations, technical and investment dialogue. Minex is designed as communication platform for Russian and CIS gold, silver, copper, iron ore, coal, uranium, precious stones and industrial minerals producers with investors, financiers, regulators, consultants, traders and equipment suppliers. Minex Forum is organized by the Minex partnership which consists of the CIS and International companies involved in planning and organizing Minex events. The group is lead by the Minex co-founders: SRK Consulting, NBLgold and Advantix.
More than 130 representatives of geological prospecting and mining companies, regulating government agencies, investment companies and banks, producers of mining and processing equipment, engineering companies and consultants, scientific and research organizations and industry associations are expected to participate in the conference MINEX – Ural 2009.
The subjects for discussion at the conference are determined by the Technical committee, which includes well-known Russian and Foreign CEOs and Managers having sound working experience in private, state and public mining companies. The Committee is divided into branch subcommittees.
